North Central Missouri College Smoke Free

TRENTON, MO. (2010-07-29) North Central Missouri College in Trenton is now 100% tobacco free.

The smoking and tobacco ban is for everyone working and attending both campuses at North Central both the main facilities in downtown Trenton as well as the new Barton Campus South of town. Vicki Weaver is a spokeswoman for North Central and says the ban comes as a result of discussions on health. Weaver adds both the human resources and fitness directors at North Central are in the process of putting together smoking cessation seminars for employees and possibly even students. The ban takes effect immediately. The board of Northwest Missouri State in Maryville is set to discuss the same proposal this afternoon.
