Chillicothe, MO (2010-07-13) The Livingston County Library was rewarded with the "We the People" bookshelf collection from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

17 books were rewarded with a theme, "A More Perfect Union" based on Civil War and multi-culturalism.
There is a wide variety of books for ages k through 12 and adults.
Robin Westphal of the Livingston County Library says of the 4 thousand libraries selected, they were 1 of the 6 for Missouri.
Anyone wishing to read the books, and their new bonus material, can check them out individually or even as a set.
