Highway 136 Closed

Bethany, MO (2010-07-09) A main portion of Northwest Missouri's Highway 136 will be closing later this month and stay closed for the next 2 months.

Mo-Dot says it will impact traffic coming into both Bethany and Albany.

Crews will be replacing a bridge deck over White Oak Creek east of New Hampton.

That bridge is between Highways D and double-B.

This means traffic from Albany traveling into Bethany will have to detour north onto Highway D.... then east to "F" and then to Route "W" to Bethany.

Again- that closure on Highway 136 between Albany and Bethany will take about 6 to 8 weeks.... and starts on Monday, July 26th.
