MARYVILLE, MO (2010-07-06) North Missouri customers of Missouri Gas Energy will see their bills go up starting this week.
State regulators have approved the higher rates after M-G-E said changes in wholesale cost of natural gas is going up.
The slight increase is from 70 cents per hundred cubic feet up to 82 cents- that's a 12 cent increase per hundred cubic feet.
The new rates start on Thursday.
Missouri Gas Energy serves about half a million natural gas customers in 34 Western Missouri counties.
