Gallatin, MO (2010-07-15) The Gallatin City Council makes several staffing hires at its recent meeting.

Members have hired Scott Stephens of Chillicothe to conduct the audit for this fiscal year.... and signed a contract with a Brookfield law firm for legal services.
They've also approved the appointment of James Owings to the
Gallatin Park Board for the next 3 years.
The council also got an update on the Gallatin Municipal
Swimming Pool, which is looking at a deficit because of lower
attendance so far this season.
Typically the municipal pool in Gallatin runs about 12 thousand
dollars in the hole each season.
