MARYVILLE, MO (2010-7-28) The Missouri Conservation Department Awards grants to two area fire departments.

The Forestry division is giving $645 to the Polk Township rural fire department based in Maryville. The grant will have to be matched by the department which will use it to buy gear and equipment. The Tri-C rural fire department also in Nodaway County is getting a little more than $15,000 for gear and equipment.
