DNR Assistance

Wayman

MARYVILLE, MO (2010-07-01) The state Department of Natural Resources is offering guidance to Northwest Missourians trying to recover from severe flooding.

The agency has updated its pamphlets on topics like water pollution, boil orders, handling asbestos-containing debris and what to do with waste left over from the flooding.

With water usage, for example, residents with private wells should use boil order procedures.

The D-N-R says if you're on public water supply, it's best to contact your local supplier for the most up-to-date information on water safety.
