Chillicothe, MO (2010-07-01) The work on expanding Chillicothe's fire station continues.

At this week's city council meeting the city finalized an agreement with the ambulance district.

That entity is contributing a quarter million dollars to the fire station building expansion.

City Manager Dean Brookshire says the current facility is simply too small.

The City Council also got an update on charges being filed on the owner of the Leeper Hotel... a building downtown some fear is structurally unsound.
