Brownville Bridge Closed

BROWNVILLE, NE. (2010-7-29) The on-going work on the bridge between Brownville Nebraska and Rock Port Missouri closes that stretch of highway 136 down from time to time.

This weekend it partially happens again. Mo-Dot says the contractor is paving the concrete deck and plans to pour the concrete overnight to avoid major delays. But starting tomorrow night at 6 and running through Monday morning at 6 anyone using the Brownville bridge could experience some delays. Workers are trying to keep at least one lane open, but crews may have to close the bridge completely periodically during the construction.
