NODAWAY COUNTY, MO. (2010-07-28) 13 suspects face felony drug charges after a 7 agency drug sweep that spans both sides of the Missouri-Iowa border.
Lead by the Nodaway County sheriff's office, authorities started at 6 in the morning on Saturday and completed the raids in about 3 hours. A total of 39 counts have been filed for possession of meth making materials. Sheriff Darren White calls it an "Old Fashioned Round Up", and says it should send a message. The suspects and towns involved in the bust are from Maryville: Ashley Dougherty, Jessica Mace, Shay Buyas, Jimmie Potter, and Heather and Michael Vinzant. Also arrested are Christopher Holbrook of Guilford, Dawn Woodward of Clarinda, Iowa, Keaton Osthoff of Clarinda, Jason Baker of Clarinda, and Jason Long from Clarinda as well as Edward Gray junior of Bedford Iowa and Edward Gray senior of New Market Iowa.
