Winnigan Bank Robbery

Winnigan, MO (2009-07-07) Law Agencies across the Midwest are on the lookout for 2 men who allegedly robbed a branch of the Bank of Brookfield- Purdin.

Investigators say it happened on Thursday when a camouflaged-masked gunman walked into the branch in Winigan- that's off of Highway 11 near Brookfield.

The robber reportedly cut phone lines coming into the bank, then got away with a driver in a white, low-riding Buick Century from the early 19-90's.

It may have been stolen from St. Joseph.

Anyone with any information on the suspect's vehicle or incident is asked to call their local law enforcement.
