St. Joseph, MO (2009-07-27) The St. Joseph City Council meets tonight to consider the issue of board appointments.

Also on the agenda is an agreement with the Allied Arts Council to provide 25 thousand dollars to support Arts efforts, accepting a 165 thousand dollar bid for new seating in part of the Civic Arena, and authorizing an application to apply for more than 1-point-7 million dollars in Federal Homeland Security funds to construct Fire Station Number 2.

The St. Joseph City Council meets at 7 tonight in City Hall.
