Sapp Sentenced

Tarkio, MO (2009-07-06) A Tarkio man is sentenced this afternoon for his part in a stabbing death.

Steven Sapp was arguing with Steven Leach last March in Pickering when a knife nicked Leach's arm and he quickly bled to death.

Because of the circumstances, Sapp was charged with 2 felonies- Voluntary Manslaughter and Armed Criminal Action.

This afternoon he was sentenced to 10 years in prison on each count.

He plead guilty earlier this year.
