Maryville Housing Project

MARYVILLE, MO (2009-07-14) A new housing project planned for Maryville will be one of several discussed next week in Kansas City.

The Garrison Development Company is planning a family apartment building called "Pine Grove" to be built on south Main Street next to the Bowling Alley in Maryville.

The 40-unit project will range from one to three bedrooms with the planned rent at below-market prices.

Pine Grove will be one of several housing projects being considered by the Missouri Housing Commission to help with affordable housing in the state… an issue also of concern in Maryville.

The public hearing will be a week from today at the Missouri Housing Development Commission, which is at 34-35 Broadway in Kansas City.

It starts at 4 that afternoon.
