Jefferson City, MO (2009-07-09) Missouri Governor Nixon has signed a bill into law that makes it harder for illegal immigrants to attend college in the state.
It also clarifies which documents are needed for Missouri schools to verify the status of international students.
Scott Holste (hole-stee) is a spokesman for Governor Nixon.
The new law blocks illegal immigrants from receiving various forms of financial aid.
It took effect immediately upon the Governor's signature.
