Chillicothe, MO (2009-07-02) Chillicothe City Council approved a development proposal last night.

Mystic Land Development was approved for development of the old prison property on the north side of Third Street in Chilicothe.
Mystic Land Development submitted the only proposal to the City Council on Monday.
Chillicothe City Manager Dean Brookshire says they plan on building homes in the price range of 99 thousand to 120 thousand dollars.

Brookshire adds the development will also have a home owners association which he says will give the development a uniform appeal.
