MARYVILLE, MO (2009-07-15) Farmers in our region will lose, on average, 30 thousand dollars a year if the Cap and Trade legislation passes.

That's the finding of a Fapri (fap-ree) study quoted in yesterday's Capital Hill hearing on Cap and Trade bill.

Missouri Senator Kit Bond says the 30 thousand dollar loss is much higher than the 11 thousand the Obama Administration originally warned about.

Another study shows farm income will drop 8 (b)billion dollars per year under Cap and Trade.
