MARYVILLE, MO (1/6-7/2010) Even though the snow seems treacherous, it's tonight's winds and temperatures that could create life-threatening conditions.
That's according to Evan Bookbinder- he's the Senior Meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill.
He says the snow fall totals are holding as predicted, but it's the winds overnight that will bring North Missouri to a standstill.
Bookbinder says overnight wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero will be common through Saturday.
