MARYVILLE, MO (2009-01-06) New federal rankings are out for nursing homes in our area and results range from above average to abysmal.
The findings are part of a new system used by the Medicare department and looks at issues like staffing, quality measures, and health inspections.
The facility is then ranked up to 5 stars.
Here are the results of the findings-
In Maryville Village Care Center and Golden Living both received 4 out of 5 stars… but Parkdale Manor and Nodaway Nursing home only got 1 out of 5 stars- classified as much below average.
In Chillicothe Morningside received 4 out of 5… Grand River, Indian Hills, and Livingston all got 2 out of 5.
In Trenton Eastview was given 3 out of 5… Sunnyview 2 out of 5.
Both facilities in Savannah received 2 out of 5 stars.
St. Joseph's Saxton Woods and Carriage Square just have 2 out of 5… Arbor View received 1 out of 5.
Bethany's Crestview has 2 out of 5… Bethany Care Center just 1 out of 5.
Albany's Golden Living center has 2 out of 5 stars.
Tarkio's nursing home has 1 out of 5.
Clarinda's Goldenrod Manor has 4 out of 5 while Westridge has 2 out of 5.
And Bedford's nursing and rehabilitation received 4 out of 5 stars.
