Chillicothe, MO (1/11/2010) Missouri's 2010 vacation planners have hit the streets, and North Central Missouri Tourism officials are thrilled with its attention to our region.

In fact the state-wide magazine-style publication features on its cover a Pony Express rider from St. Joseph... The beginning of the

so-called "Way of the American Genius".

That's the name tourism officials are giving to the Highway 36 corridor- like Amy Supple, who's the Director of the Greater Chillicothe Visitors Region.

The Chillicothe Commerce Center and other chamber offices statewide are now distributing the comprehensive roster of activities, accommodations, and attractions.
