Jefferson City, MO (1/6/2010) Gas rates for some Northwest Missourians could be on the rise... but hearings starting tomorrow could change that.
State regulators are holding a series of public hearings for input on Empire District Gas Company's request to raise rates.
They're proposing getting another 3 million dollars in revenue by charging the average customer almost 5 dollars a month more.
Hearings are being held tomorrow and Friday in the Governor's office building in Jefferson City..... and again all next week.
