Jefferson City, MO (2010-1-4) Missouri ag producers have an opportunity to learn more about emergency planning.
The Missouri Department of Agriculture will hold two animal agriculture emergency planning and response meetings in our region.
Those that attend will learn how to plan for and react to emergencies concerning their animals.
Sandy Ingeman (ing-guh-mun) with the Missouri Department of Agriculture says one point of emphasis is how the state will respond.
The animal agriculture emergency planning and response meetings are scheduled for Wednesday January 6th.
The morning meeting will be at the University of Missouri extension office in Rock Port at 11:30.
The evening meeting is at the University of Missouri extension office in Maryville at 6.
