MARYVILLE, MO (2010-1-26) Maryville area students can now earn free college credit while in high school
An agreement has been signed between the Northwest Technical School in Maryville and North Central Missouri College in Trenton. The credit-sharing arrangement is in addition to the existing partnership between the two schools which allows students to get 30 hours of free college credit toward an associate of applied science degree in applied technology. In the agreement college course tuition fees are waived and credit gained at the technical school in Maryville is easily transferred to the Trenton College. In return the students get career training in areas including accounting, agriculture, business, computer science, and child development.
