MOUND CITY, MO (2010-1-27) Mound City R-2 residents may see a spike in their property taxes after the school board met recently to discuss a resolution calling for a special school bond election.
All were in agreement to fund the 2 and a half million dollar project at 69 cent tax levy for property owners. The project would build four new classrooms for the district, one being a computer lab and the other a science lab. The resolution will appear on the April 6th ballot.
