The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat men's and women's basketball teams travel to Warrensburg Saturday afternoon for a big doubleheader with Central Missouri.
In the men's game...it's a battle of the top two teams in the MIAA. The Mules have won seven straight and stand at 13-3 overall and 6-2 in the conference...the Bearcats have won two straight and are 13-4 overall and 6-2 in the MIAA. Bearcat head men's basketball coach Ben McCollum says the Mules bring a lot to court.
The Northwest women play a Central Missouri team that is 14-2 overall and 6-2 in the MIAA and ranked 17th nationally...Northwest is 10-6 overall and 4-4 in the MIAA. The Jennies are coming off an overtime win over Missouri Western Wednesday and Northwest head coach Mark Kellogg says the game will feature some interesting match up's.
