A plan rebranding the Mozingo Lake and Golf Course as the Mozingo Lake Recreation Park is moving ahead. The Maryville City Council this week viewed a presentation on the city's plan to change marketing strategies for the park. City Manager Greg McDanel says a lot of thought has gone into ways to better promote Mozingo Lake.As part of the Mozingo Lake rebranding project an improved website will be unveiled this spring as well. The new website will be designed to make it easier to rent cabins, RV spots or set up tee times at the golf course.
