Jefferson Bond Issue

The Jefferson C-123 Board of Education last week voted to place a one-point-five million dollar bond issue on the April ballot.

The proposal would fund a new gymnasium for the school district. Superintendent Rob Dowis says this will be the fifth time the Jefferson School Board has placed the issue before district voters.

Dowis says the Jefferson bond proposal needs a four-sevenths majority for passage.
