The Clarinda Regional Health Center's 24 hour Medical helicopter service has only been in operation since October but current renovation work to it's helipad will allow the program to expand.
That's according to hospital spokesperson Jason Bridie.
Bridie says the Mercy One-Clarinda medical helicopter service benefits several regional hospitals in transporting patients with needed emergency or critical care needsBridee says the current helicopter is being kept at Clarinda Municpal Airport to protect it from weather until the new "heliport" station is completed on the hospital grounds.© Copyright, KXCV
