Fresh Start Grand Opening

The Grand Opening for Second Harvest's Fresh Start Community Market was held yesterday afternoon in St. Joseph.

Fresh Start is the first of it's kind in the United States...a non-profit community grocery market located at a food bank. CEO of Second Harvest, Chad Higdon, says the Fresh Start Community Market is designed to meet several needs in northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas.

Higdon says approximately 150 people shopped at the Fresh Start Community Market in it's first day of operation yesterday.
