Forecasters expected the midwest would see more precipitation this winter... unfortunately, that hasn't happened.

Dry weather continues to plague northwest Missouri and other midwestern states. Holt County Agronomist Wayne Flannary says farmers need to be proactive in preparing for the season ahead.

Flannery says livestock producers and corn and soybean farmers need to look into backup water and feed sources.
