A Northwest Missouri State University Government expert says tonight's state of the union speech will be even more political than normal.

Northwest political science professor Dr. Robert Dewhirst points out the State of the Union always includes agenda items. But he says tonight's speech is different: it's being given with a presidential election coming at the end of this year.
