MARYVILLE, MO (2012-01-18)
Universities and colleges in Maryville, St. Joseph, and Trenton are analyzing the impact of what the governor's state-of-te-state speech will have on their budgets.
Jay Nixon's proposal is a 12 and a half percent cut in state funding to public colleges and universities, the 3rd time in 3 years. State budget director Linda Luebering blames the cut on a drop in state revenues.
