The city of Maryville has an interim city manager.

Long-time public safety director Keith Wood has been chosen as the temporary manager. He's been with the city for 23 years. Wood is filling in until a new city manager is chosen, following the resignation of Mat LeCerf, who took a similar position in Colorado. Of the original 65 applicants, city officials are meeting with the 5 finalists this week and hope to name a new city manager soon. That person could be on the job by early next month.
