MARYVILLE, MO (2012-01-05)
Northwest Missouri could see millions pour in soon to help pay for flood damage done last fall.
The federal emergency management agency is awarding 15 million dollars to the Missouri Department of Transportation, which will go specifically toward highways and roads on federal land damaged by natural disasters in the state. FEMA is also giving 1.3 million dollars to the Missouri National Guard to help cover some costs during their deployment during the Missouri River Flooding and for the Joplin Tornado recovery.
