CHILLICOTHE, MO (2012-01-9)

The Chillicothe Area Arts Council is looking for actors to perform in the Missoula Children's Theatre Performance of "The Tortoise Versus the Hare."

The Missoula directors will select 50-60 local and area students. Auditions will be held this Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center in Chillicothe. The Arts Council is looking for students ages kindergarten through 12th grade to audition. Students auditioning need to bring a sack lunch or snack with them, in case they are selected. There will be a rehearsal immediately following auditions. Rehearsals will be conducted throughout the week from 4 to 8:30 p.m. each day with a 30 minute lunch break. Rehearsals for the show will be from January 9 to the 13th. The show will be presented on Saturday January 14.
