AG Update

HOLT COUNTY, MO (2012-01-24)

The Holt County AG update will be held tomorrow morning at 8 at the Holt County Extension Office in the courthouse Annex in Oregon.

Wayne Flanary, regional agronomist with the University of Missouri Extension, says the update will include private applicator training as well as updates on new technology.

The private applicator training will include a pest management update. Following the training will be presentations from AG engineer Jim Crawford, AG business specialist Bob Kelly, and livestock specialist Amie Schleicher. Tom Fowler, horticulture specialist, will also visit about new pests moving towards Missouri. To attend the meeting, RSVP to the Holt County Extension Office. AG Updates will be held in Atchison county January 31st and in Nodaway county February 1st.
