MARYVILLE, MO (2011-01-18) The president of one of our region's largest employers says the corporate Hog Giant will be active in the coming months at the Missouri State House.

Bill Homann says premium standard farms will be pushing lawmakers to re-consider positions to make the state more agriculture friendly. Premium standard farms employs about 1,100 workers throughout north Missouri and has a multi-million dollar impact on salaries and tax bases.
