MARYVILLE, MO (2011-01-06) Northwest Missouri State University's president is warning of tough financial times, but is pledging to parents the school will try its best to avoid unreasonable costs.

University presidents are set to meet with the governor next week at the university in Maryville even with expected yearly tuition increase, Northwest won't compromise access or affordability for students in our region. Northwest hopes to have tuition set by mid-March to help families prepare financially for the upcoming Fall semester. Most all schools in Missouri are looking at an annual tuition increase.
