ST. JOSEPH, MO (2011-01-14) The St. Joseph based agency helping the disabled in northern Missouri names a new development director.

"MERIL" or "Midland Empire Resources for Independent Living" has hired Gary Bidne to enhance funding for the agency. He's had more than a quarter century in fundraising and leadership in non-profit areas including in New York City, the east coast, and in Canada. Under Bidne's leadership MERIL is planning a signature annual event to promote it's services, which helps regional residents with disabilities to live as independently as they choose.
