SAVANNAH, MO (2011-01-05) The Missouri legislative session starts today, and the senator from Savannah says a top priority will be climbing out of the recession.
Senator Brad Lager says finding ways to cut the budget and spur economic growth is on the minds of all lawmakers this session. Lager adds introducing many bills on the senate floor is the opposite of his priority. Lager says he will be paying special attention to any bills that reduce the regulatory burden on businesses to help them create jobs and grow.
