ST. JOSEPH, MO (2011-01-25) A special forum this afternoon will give future teachers in our region an inside glimpse on what employers are looking for.
Professional panelists will describe qualities they are looking for in new hires, and offer a prediction on the job market in the next 2 years. Presenters include lathrop R-2 superintendent Dr. Chris Blackburn, St. Joseph School District's Human Resources director Doug Flowers, Platte County assistant superintendent Dr. Rob Gardner, and North Kansas City Human Resources director Rob winter. The teacher Job search panel discussion is at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph at the Blum Union. It starts at 4:30.
