OREGON, MO (2011-01-19) The extension agency is holding an agriculture update for Holt County Friday morning.
The focus will be a pest management update which will also qualify producers to meet the meeting requirements to re-certify their licenses. Other issues being discussed include new fuel storage containment laws and new energy programs available to regional growers. Producers can also hear about market values for cash rental rates and get tips on increasing crop input costs. The Holt County agriculture update starts at 8 Friday morning in Oregon and ends at noon. It will be in the TJ Hall building.
