MARYVILLE, MO (2011-01-10) If you have been thinking you are paying more for groceries lately, you are right.
A new survey out from the Missouri Farm Bureau shows prices on 16 common grocery items rose slightly in the 4th quarter last year compared to the third quarter. Diane Olson is the director of promotion and education for the survey and says they have even determined in which part of the grocery store you are paying more. Prices actually dropped on some of the 16 items in the researcher's list, including cheaper sirloin tip roast, shredded cheese, orange juice, and red delicious apples.
