ATCHISON COUNTY, MO (2011-01-03) Missouri's largest farm organization is wasting no time preparing for this year's legislative session.
Garret Hawkins is the Missouri Farm Bureau's director of national legislative programs. He says the group has already determined its stance on legislative policy, much of which has to do with the environmental protection agency. Atchison County producer Blake Hurst will be helping the state efforts in the nation's capital as newly elected president of the Missouri Farm Bureau.
