Leoffke Lecture

Werner

MARYVILLE, MO (2010-1-21) Retired major general Bernard Leofeke spoke last night at the Mary Linn auditorium.

The subject of the speech was relations between China and the United States. Leofeke says there is a window of oppertunity in the next 15 years to become friendlier or more confrontational. Leofeke also says the U.S. can cooperate, ignore, o confront China. Leoffke believes the U.S. and China can help benefit the world through humanitarian aid to impoverished areas of the world. The speech was apart of the Ploghoft lecture series.
