Mound City, MO (1/12/2010) The Mound City Board of Aldermen is working with the Rural Fire District to coordinate on....... the snow.

Firefighters are asking the city to help blade the drive to the fire station.... As well as make sure that the Mound City street crews keep snow from piling around the fire hydrants.

The Mound City rural fire department will be put on next month's agenda.

Also at the recent meeting Aldermen voted to buy 4 L-E-D flashing lights for city maintenance vehicles, considered a request from the City of Skidmore to buy Mound City's grader, and re-appointed Carmen Showalter to the Mound City Housing Authority board for another 4 year term.
