CHILLICOTHE, MO (1/13/2010) Looking for funding options, the Chillicothe R-2 school district moves a step forward to putting a bond issue on the ballot.
At its last meeting members approved an investment firm out of Kansas City to act as the district's bond agent if a bond issue is put to a vote.
The proposal is for 5 dollars and 75 cents for each thousand dollars in bonds issued.
The Kansas City company chosen has had a working relationship with the Chillicothe R-2 district for several years.
