MARYVILLE, MO (2009-01-12) Drivers using a shared bridge between Missouri and Nebraska need to know there's been a change on the weight loads that can legally run on it.
Nebraska transportation officials say the Missouri river bridge on Highway 159 at Rulo Nebraska has its load limits changed following a routine inspection of the structure.
The new limits are 18 tons for type 3 trucks, 26 tons for type 3S2 trucks…. And 29 tons for type 33 trucks.
Officials say the bridge is set for repair sometime this summer or fall.
Those load limits will be reconsidered once the bridge work is finished.
