TRENTON/MARYVILLE, MO (1/11/2010) Maryville and Trenton officials have undergone special training to prepare for a plane crash.
Mo-Dot recently held a series of training sessions designed to teach local airport officials how to respond in the event of an airport emergency- including plane crashes.
The workshops centered around fire fighting techniques at an airport- a unique crisis because of fuel storage and other considerations.
In both Maryville and Trenton, airport officials, structural firefighters, and local emergency responders attended the day-long, on-site training.
