MARYVILLE, MO (2009-02-13) Residents in the Mound City area continue to have their fire protection upgraded.

At the recent Board of Alderman meeting the Rural Fire District representatives told members a thermal imaging camera has been purchased and it available for the city's use as well.

They also reported 6 firemen just returned from training classes.

The Board of Aldermen also made appointments to several boards.

These include re-appointing Donnie Ireland to the planning commission for a 5 year term, re-appointing Jim Thomas to the board of zoning adjustment for a 5 year term… and appointing Rodney Fritsche to the Mound City housing authority.
